Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Forkcast is built so that your personal data doesn't have to leave your phone. This policy explains what stays on your device, what the app's few third-party services process, and the choices you have.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in Forkcast is stored locally on your device only:

We operate no servers for this data, there are no accounts, and we cannot see, collect, sell or share any of it. Deleting the app permanently deletes this data.

Advertising

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process device information (such as advertising identifiers, IP address, and coarse device characteristics) to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Purchases

The one-time Premium purchase is processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We receive no payment details. Purchase state is verified against your store account, which is also how "Restore Purchases" works on a new device.

What we don't do

Children

Forkcast is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change — for example, if an optional account sync feature is added — this policy will be updated here first, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will also be called out in the app's release notes.
